Assignment Begins ASAP! Dates: ASAP (Anytime between now and 7/6/12) to 8/10/12 This is a ALL-BOYS; Residential; Healthy-Kid; Sports-Oriented Summer Camp for Boys Ages 6-16 y/o.
RESIDENTIAL Nursing Position - Private Lodging is Provided On-Site. PAY: $550-$650 Per Week; Includes Room, Board, & Meals; They may also provide Free Tuition for your Child (IF you have a Son Aged 6-16 y/o)

General Info About Summer Camp Nursing Positions - Nationally...
Here is some general information regarding the camp assignments: Camps pay a base salary, provide free Room / Board / Meals, and some Camps also offer free or highly discounted tuition for your own child to attend camp with you. Most camps do cover your travel & licensure costs (when applicable) as well. These Camp assignments are approx. 8 weeks in duration, and in session during the months of June through August. Pay rate varies from one camp to another; however it's usually in the range of $500 - $800k per week. All (except a couple) of the Camp assignments I have right now are for 'Traditional' Summer Camps, with 'Healthy Child' populations (not 'Special Needs' Camps). Some Camps are religious/faith-based while others are not. Faith-based camps very rarely require the Nurse to be of faith; they only require the Nurse to be respectful and sensitive regarding the nature of the camp faith, campers and staff.
We've had great success placing Nurses at Summer Camps for the past several years. We truly enjoy recruiting for Camps and find it very rewarding. Camp Nursing is about the EXPERIENCE; It's a great way to get out-doors, work with children, enjoy the beautiful scenery and engage in a variety of fun activities!
Camp Nurse experience is NOT required. I'm looking for energetic, high quality, experienced Registered Nurses, with a 'knack' for working with children. Of course, RNs with some pediatric experience is preferred over RNs with none, but still not required. School Nurses, Pediatric and Acute Care Nurses are usually great candidates; however each Nurse is assessed on a case by case basis. There is no 'set-in-stone' list of criteria.
