I am searching for a BC/BE Hospitalist to join the team at a not-for-profit, community hospital located in Central Maine. In concert with family physician, Hospitalist is dedicated solely to providing the best care during hospitalization. Need Hospitalist who believes that specializing in hospital care provides the opportunity to empower the family to participate in healthcare to provide quick and easy access to information and other Specialists who may be needed in the healthcare process.
Details & requirements:
IM board certified or eligible
Salary: Extremely attractive for the area
Paid medical malpractice insurance
Sign on bonus
1 Week per year CME
Excellent benefit package
Relocation benefit
Medical education loan repayment program ~ up to $200,000
Can be foreign graduate with U. S. training; however, not an under-served area; no J1. (H1b visas accepted)
7 on 7 off (12 hour shifts, negotiable)
1 weeknight and 1 weekend every 6th week (currently)
Pediatrics is rare
5 local Internist's are working call and would continue Can be flexible with call if candidates are willing to be
Need to work as a team
Patient volume annually is low
