More details about this position opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Maine Medical Partners â€" Neurology has a full-time opening for a BC/BE Neurologist. Fellowship training/special interest in stroke/neuro-hospitalist, critical care, neuromuscular/EMG, movement disorders o! r headache would be welcome but is not required.
Our Neurology Division consists of 16 neurologists (soon to be 17), and our neurologists complement each other in specialty training, including Pediatrics, EMU/Epilepsy, Stroke, Neurocognitive, Movement Disorder, MS/Autoimmune, and Neuro-Oncology.
Maine Medical Center has 637 licensed beds and is the state’s leading tertiary care hospital and a Level 1 Trauma Center, with a full complement of residencies and fellowships and an integral part of Tufts University Medical School. Our physicians work collaboratively with neurosurgeons, neurocritical care physicians, and the Neuroscience Institute to further develop a Neuroscience Center of Excellence in supporting initiatives of our stroke program. Neurologists work closely with Maine Medical Center’s Hospitalist Service, providing consults (no admissions).
The position involves teaching and mentoring of medical students and residents from the Maine ! Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine Program, an! d the candidate would have an academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine.
