Under the direction of an ACPE Supervisor, the Pediatric Chaplain Resident provides spiritual care to pediatric patients and their families at Barbara Bush Children?s Hospital an! d the Pediatric Special Care Unit at Maine Medical Center, and Maine Children?s Cancer Program; supports staff; participates in the CPE educational structure for chaplain residents; and collaborates with other departments.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
The Pediatric Chaplain Resident must be within a year of completing all requirements for Board Certification as a Professional Chaplain.
