The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. To deliver care to patients and families whose needs range from ! basic to complex by utilizing the nursing process. the Registered Nurse is accountable for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing of the patients. Provides leadership and patient-focused care through coordinating and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team throughout patient length of stay. Assumes accountability for individual patient outcomes by providing direct care and supervising care delegated to team members. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS : Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred or to attain within 5 years. 3-5 years acute care experience preferred with demonstrated, increased leadership skills and responsibility. Demonstrated leadership qualities, ability to function as a positive and effective team member in a dynamic environment; IV certification. Must have a current Maine RN license, BLS certification and AORN certification preferred.
