Neurodiagnostic Technologist, Registered
Location: Lewiston, Maine
Description: Central Maine Medical Center is employing Neurodiagnostic Technologist, Registered right now, this position will be delegated in Maine. Performs EEG's in an Adult and Pediatric population, plus a trama center and can perform one or more of the following: evoked potentials (including VEP'! s, BAER's SSEP's), and/or NCV's. Performs clerical duties. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality (CQI) improvement activities.
Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent. A minimum of two years experience as an EEG Technician. Current BCLS certification. Attends continuing education courses/seminars when available. Registered with the American Board of Neurodiagnostic Technologist (ABRET) or the equivalent (CAET). This position requires on-call hours, current drivers license.
Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Ability to monitor, interpret EEG wave patterns.
This position is for call coverage 11pm-8am and occasional vacation coverage in the practice.
