Pediatrician - (Pediatrics - Peds - Pedi) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 12/16/2013Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Staff Care is looking for a pediatrician for a new locum tenen opportunity in Maine. This assignment begins in Mid December and will extend through the New Year while our client is permanent recruiting. This client requires Board Certification in pediatrics, and the assignment will be 4 days a week clinic with a 1 and 4 call rotation. There is an average of 20-30! patients per day as well as a full support staff. This locati! on is highly desirable with attractions from mountains, art galleries, and charming downtown area with culture, shopping and restaurants. A pediatrician(locum tenens) manages the well being and health of children from infancy through 21 years. They work to care for and manage acute and chronic illness, provide general care, focus on reducing infant and child mortality, and help with the early care and detection of child and adolescent disorders. A pediatrician diagnoses and treats illness, injury, malignancies, genetic defects, and organic dysfunctions and disease.
