Description: MaineGeneral Health is hiring Pediatric Clerical Support right now, this occupation will be placed in Maine. The Pediatric Center Clerical Support staff provide clinical and administrative support to services at the Pediatric Center. Insures that medical records are organized, available, and complete, i! n accordance with Pediatric Center procedures. Administers and scores diagnostic screening tools, at the direction and under the supervision of the physician or clinical psychologist. Answers, screens and directs phone calls. Takes messages and provides routine information to callers. Resolves calls to completion.
Qualifications/Competencies : High school completion required. Three or more years working in a medical practice environment preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to work independently. Effective time management and problem solving skills required. Must be able to manage multiple competing priorities. Must have the ability to contribute positively to team function. Proficiency in multiple computer applications, and ability to learn new applications quickly and accurately.
