Provide age appropriate nursing care to medical-surgical unit that cares for a variety of patients, and that places an emphasis on care of patients with oncology and/or hematologic dia! gnoses. Patient populations include patients diagnosed with cancer or blood disorders, those undergoing treatment or experiencing effects of treatment, patients with renal dysfunction, and general medical patients.
Required Experience:
Maine RN license or eligible to obtain
Minimum 2 years recent oncology nursing experience required
Chemo certification required
Preferred Experience:
OCN preferred
Research experience with pediatric oncology protocols a plus
Familiarity with pediatric oncology protocols a plus
