Description: Franklin Community Health Network is at present looking to employ Lead Physical Therapist right now, this occupation will be situated in Maine. The Registered Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, treatment and instruction of human! beings to detect, assess, prevent, correct, alleviate and limit physical disability, bodily malfunction and aid from injury, disease and any other bodily condition; the administration, interpretation and evaluation of tests and measurements of bodily functions and structures for he purpose of treatment planning, the planning, administration, evaluation and modification of treatment and instruction; and the use of physical agents and procedures, activities and devices for preventative and therapeutic purposes; and the provision of consultative, educational and other advisory services for the purpose of reducing the incidence and severity of physical disability, bodily malfunction and pain. Patient population consists of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Provides all aspects of care based on established standards.

Demonstrates competency in all procedures within scope of practice, as appropriate to the ages of the patients served; the abi! lity to obtain information and interpret information in terms ! of the patients needs; a knowledge of growth and development and an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients. The employee must demonstrate competence in the care and treatment of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Conducts in-service programs as requested for hospital personnel in physical therapy techniques and objectives. The Lead Physical Therapist has the authority to assign employees and also the responsibility to direct employees in the workplace.

In this role you must exercise independent judgement while performing your job functions on a regular basis and this is a substantial part of your overall job responsibilities.
