Description: Goodall Hospital is at the momment seeking for Receptionist, Pediatrics right now, this vacancy will be designated in Maine. Under the direction of the Director of Operations and the supervision of the Administrative Manager, receptionist is responsible for the day to day organization of the front office ! and its relationship to the overall flow of patient care whether it be in their assigned practice or another practice within the GHP organization. Assumes primary responsibility for duties including but not limited to answering the phone, scheduling appointments, updating demographic information, updating insurance/billing information, collecting appropriate insurance co-pays, filing and copying of medical records, maintaining daily work sheets, deposits, self pay reports and Pend reports.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Excellent communication and organizational skills, team player. Must be able to work independently with good decision making ability.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Prolonged sitting and/or walking. Must be able to reach, bend and stoop. Some light lifting. Good manual dexterity for keyboard operation, visual acuity (corrected), and hearing (corrected). Excellent communication skills required. !
WORKING CONDITIONS : Normal medical office env! ironment, exposure patients with different levels of competency, occasional exposure to highly emotional patients, works closely with the public.
