Description: Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems is at the momment seeking for Audiologist right now, this position will be situated in Maine. Further informations about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. Job summary: Provide audiograms and dispense hearing aids in a high volume clinic setting.
Minimum Education required: Master's Degree in Audiology. Maine State licensure for audiology a! nd hearing aid dispensing or eligible for permit with licensure pending
Minimum Experience Required: Will accept new graduates.
Other Skills Required: Effective communication and customer service skills Sincere interest in providing quality services Strong team skills. Clinical skills include knowledge of CAPD, ENG/VNG, ABR and hearing aid dispensing. Experience with amplification Ability to work with pediatrics a plus Must be available to work some Saturdays
Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, stooping, bending, reaching, walking. Visual acuity and manual dexterity to manipulate test equipment and hearing aids; hearing ability to accurately assess patient's word recognition.
Working Environment: Space is limited, but in good condition. Test equipment is up-to-date.
